About

BNI networking in TrussvilleBNI (Business Network Int’l.) was founded by Dr. Ivan Misner in 1985 as a way for business people to generate referrals in a structured, professional environment. The organization now has tens of thousands of members on almost every continent of the world. Since its inception, members of BNI have passed millions of referrals, generating billions of dollars for the participants. BNI’s philosophy may be summed up in two simple words: “Givers Gain.”

Last year, members of the BUSINESS NETWORK INT’L. (BNI) Trussville Chapter passed, in just 3 months, hundreds of referrals which generated over $1.6 million dollars worth of business for our members! Can you afford NOT to be a member of a group of professionals like this? This is a true network group, not a MLM scam. BNI is a business and professional networking organization and once you join, your type of business is locked in! This means no other competitive companies can join the chapter as long as you are a member.

Belonging to BNI Trussville chapter is like having a group of sales people working for you because all of our members carry several copies of your business cards around with them. When we meet someone new who could use your products or service, we hand your card out and *recommend your services. It’s as simple as that! It’s simple because it’s based on the proven concept of what goes around, comes around. If I help you, you’ll help me and we will both benefit as a result. This is why our motto is “Givers Gain!”

Would you like to increase your referrals by 20%, 30%, 50% or as much as 100%? You can see results like this! Our members have. We pass an average of over 120 referrals a month and growing. Successful businesses depend on word of mouth. Word-of-mouth advertising is the best advertising there is.

BNI provides a structured and supportive system of giving and receiving referrals. It does so by providing an environment in which you develop personal relationships with dozens of other qualified business professionals. By establishing this “formal” relationship with other people, you will have the opportunity to substantially increase your business.

Thanks for this post. I was a BNI visitor and am visiting again next week. My business if pretty much a new-start and I slightly worry that getting the number of my “giving” referrals may take a wee while (though I now to think about personal networks here too). Again, thanks for the post. I’m trying to find out as much as I can as I’m on the verge of committing.

Happy New Year from the UK

Found and used one of your Edu Moments in my own chapter. I was hoping your educational coordinator might consider joining our Yahoo BNI Education coordinators page — http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/BNI-education

The sole purpose of this group is sharing of ideas between chapters.
